November is Homelessness Awareness Month

Annual Benefit Concert

For the 3rd year in a row, the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall and Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation have offered their generous support to use the Music Hall in November at no cost and to contribute $5,000 toward the artist fee for a performer.

We are pleased to announce that Richard Zandri, President and CEO of Zandri Construction Corporation, will serve as honorary Chair of this year's Help for the Homeless Benefit Concert featuring the Benny Goodman Tribute on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are now available!

An accomplished musician himself, having played trumpet at the Starlight Theater and SPAC, Dick Zandri is most well known in our community for his work building and renovating housing for the non-profit sector and for his generosity to many causes in the community.

Capital Region Coalition to End Homelessness

On behalf of the Capital Region Coalition to End Homelessness, thank you for visiting us and exploring opportunities on how YOU can help end homelessness in the Capital Region.

The Capital Region Coalition to End Homelessness is comprised of over 40 organizations from the Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and Saratoga Counties which provide housing, shelter and support services to the homeless, the poor, and persons in need. The purpose of our Coalition is to create greater awareness of homelessness in our communities and raise funds to support agencies and programs providing critical services. In partnership with the larger community, our goal is to end homelessness.

Please take a moment to view the list of organizations and programs in our area working to help families and individuals in need. Reach out to volunteer or donate. We need your support. Together, we can make a difference.
