CARES' mission is to improve the quality of life of local communities, for persons with disabilities and/or other life challenges, through the provision of direct services to individuals and technical assistance and consulting services to state and local governments and not-for-profit agencies providing housing and/or support services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
